CT joins the Green Hydrogen Cluster of Castilla la Mancha, as a commitment with the European strategy for the development of H2 technologies.

CT takes a further step in its contribution to the development of H2 technologies through its adhesion to the Green Hydrogen Cluster of Castilla la Mancha, founded last December, and based at the National Hydrogen Center in Puertollano (Ciudad Real). The company, which is already collaborating in Support Engineering for the design of Iberdrola’s future green hydrogen plant in Puertollano, is one of the first members to join the cluster with the aim of building the so-called Hydrogen Economy.

The Green Hydrogen Cluster of Castilla la Mancha is a group of organizations, including the National Hydrogen Center of Puertollano, that join efforts to decarbonize the industrial sector, following the roadmap of the European Union around this energy through new formulas of public-private collaboration. Through this collaboration, CT will have the opportunity to be one of the first engineering services companies at national level, with expertise in hydrogen plant technologies development.

Cristina Maroto, Puertollano Site Manager, explains that “as a company operating in numerous sectors, from petrochemical, aeronautical, railway, naval, energy or automotive, we are aware of the importance of decarbonization of the most carbon intensive industries in the world, including power generation, chemicals, steel manufacturing and heavy transport. Being part of this cluster represents a huge privilege and responsibility for CT, which is already collaborating on Europe’s largest green hydrogen complex for industrial use, located in the area.”

The cluster, founded at the end of last year, consolidates Puertollano’s position on the green hydrogen map in Europe, and aims to cover the entire industrial chain that shapes the hydrogen vector.

Currently, CT’s main activity around this energy is located in its office in Puertollano – a location considered privileged with an important industrial pole – where it has been offering multiple engineering service packages in industrial plants for almost a decade thanks to a multidisciplinary team, with extensive experience in Civil and Structural Engineering, Electricity, Instrumentation and Mechanics, among others.
