The Scorpène Class are a series of attack submarines with diesel-electric propulsion; they were jointly developed by the European naval consortium of the same name, created in 1992 by the French company DCNS and the Spanish company Navantia. These submarines are outstanding because of their speed, their stealth and high degree of automation.

The Scorpène Class was CT’s first experience in developing engineering for this type of vessel, participating in different projects of submarines under the same class for the Chilean, Malaysian and Indian Navies, working in the functional areas, on the detailed engineering and RAMS (ILS & Safety).

Furthermore, CT arranged a support team to be sent to India to supervise the construction work for the submarines.
